About us

Home from Home Isle of Wight is a local business offering cottages in the Isle of Wight as well as serviced apartments in Portsmouth and Southsea, a garden apartment in Edinburgh and a villa in Cyprus.

Home from Home, Portsmouth Ltd was set up in 2012 by Jane Wilson who has a business background with a focus on marketing. She has 3 teens, Charlie, the office dog who often models for our photos, and tigger the cat.

Over the years has been joined by a team:

Nick (Husband) who keeps us insured and safe and manages any maintenance issues, when hes not driving no2 son to Guildford to swim, he likes to have a run himself. 

Emma, Office manager, joined in 2018 as Office Manager, from IBM project management makes sure we have all we need to make the office run smoothly. She has 2 children, likes to keep fit and cycle to work and a camper van for weekend escapes

Eibhlis joined us in 2019 as operations manager, she had previous experience running serviced accommodation and (fortunately) doesn’t like to sit still. After she has organised the check ins shes shopping for any supplies delivering the welcome baskets and can even turn her hand to a bit of maintenance! Eibhlis has 2 children and a cat. When shes not working, she loves to go out on a run.

Susie joined us in 2022 as bookkeeper. Shes been helping us get all our ticks in the right boxes and ready for making tax digital! Susie has 2 grown up daughters that have flown the nest, but a couple of pooches to keep her company! 

Michelle is our housekeeper and look after the properties, keeping them clean and can help with any needs during your stay.

Mark is our maintenance man, helping us with anything that needs fixing as well as organising our refurbs and decorating

Rachel runs our marketing, she loves taking photos for our social media which is handy!

Rosetta Gardening look after our gardens - usually there on Thursdays, making the gardens look lovely!
